Health Care
The socio-economic conditions of the target communities are so poor that they are not only suffering for their day to day bread but also not in a position to spend on their health too. The resultant minor health problems develop into major health problems and at one stage they turn fatal for them, as they cannot afford to spend on the costly treatment and bear the expenses to travel and stay in the towns and cities.
Keeping in view the economic poverty of the communities in our project area. ASSS has conducted several free medical checkup camps in several villages.
ASSS engages qualified doctors for organizing these types of camps and announces the dates of these camps in advance In the proposed villages, so that communities can utilize this opportunity to attend the camps and get diagnosed for different health problems and get medicines at free of cost.
Medical Health Camps for Truck Drivers
At ASSS, we recognize the invaluable contribution of truck drivers to our economy, often traversing long distances under challenging conditions. Understanding the importance of their health and well-being, we organized a series of Medical Health Camps tailored specifically for truck drivers, aiming to address their medical needs and promote a culture of proactive healthcare.
The primary objective of our Medical Health Camps was to provide truck drivers with access to essential medical services, including eye testing, blood pressure checks, and general health screenings. By offering these services directly at truck stops and rest areas, we aimed to overcome barriers to healthcare access and raise awareness about the importance of regular check-ups among this vital workforce.
